Tactile teaching is probably the most effective means of communication between client and instructor. The exchange of energy and information from one individual to the next through physical touch is the most powerful teaching tool that can be utilized in a studio environment. It is also a very sensitive tool, however, and both parties need to be fully aware of its purpose and how it should be interpreted.
