I started my career in the financial field, working for British–Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company, after 20 years I decided to move out of the corporate world’s fast lane into a lane where I can focus on sharing my knowledge and love for being healthy happy and free and to pursue my passion in health and fitness. My life has always included sport on all levels including Pilates and I’m passionate about a holistic approach to health, with that in mind I did a 360˚career change and started studying Holistic Nutrition. I move to a small town renowned as a watersport paradise in the Eastern Cape. I completed my BASI MAT Instructors course April 2019. My Holistic approach to life allows me to practice and teach Pilates, an incredible gift an honor to help people grow on a mind body spirit level. “sometimes you need to step off the worn path, lay down with your eyes up to the blue sky, interlock your fingers behind your head and let the grass grow up around you.” Leo Christopher

She started doing Pilates as a regular part of her exercise routine and started noticing a difference in her physique, dance technique, agility and control on stage as well as improvements in posture and general strength and endurance. She went on to complete her BTech degree in Dance (Cum Laude) majoring in Performance in 2005 at the Tshwane University of Technology. While studying she also completed her very first Pilates instructors certificate with Tshwane University of Technology. Bernadene then went on to dance with the Tshwane Dance Theatre. In 2006 she decided to take up Pilates as a full time career. Since then she has grown to understand what an important element Pilates is in the overall fitness puzzle.
